Ingredients
- ¾ lb flank steak or top sirloin, trimmed
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- ¼ cup orange juice
- 3 Tbsp soy sauce
- 2 Tbsp lemon juice
- ½ bunch fresh cilantro, chopped (or use flat-leaf parsley)
- 1½ tsp chili powder
- 1½ tsp ground cumin
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- ½ cup fresh salsa
Instructions
- Place steak in a large zip-top plastic bag.
- Whisk together garlic and next 7 ingredients; reserve ½ cup garlic mixture, and chill until ready to serve.
- Pour remaining marinade over steak; seal and chill 8 hours or overnight.
- Remove steak from marinade; discard marinade. Cook in a greased cast-iron skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat 6 minutes per side or to desired doneness.
- Let stand 10 minutes before thinly slicing against the grain. Serve with ¼ cup garlic mixture and salsa.

- ½ (16-oz) pkg tricolor coleslaw mix
- 2 Tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 Tbsp honey
- 1 Tbsp chopped chipotle chiles in adobo sauce (from a 7-oz can; see Note)
- 1½ tsp celery seed
- ¼ tsp kosher salt
- ¼ tsp pepper
Side Dish Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a large bowl; toss well.
