Pork Chops in Garlic-Herb Sauce
Chive Mashed Potatoes and Green BeansIngredients
- 6 (6-oz) boneless pork chops
- ½ tsp salt, divided
- ½ tsp pepper, divided
- 3 Tbsp butter, divided
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1½ Tbsp all-purpose flour
- ¾ cup white wine (or use low-sodium chicken broth)
- ¾ cup heavy cream
- 1½ tsp Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Season pork with ¼ tsp each salt and pepper. Melt 1 Tbsp butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook pork 3 to 4 minutes or until browned.
- Reduce heat to medium; turn pork, and cook 3 to 4 minutes or until done. Remove from skillet; keep warm.
- Return skillet to medium heat. Add 2 Tbsp butter and garlic, and cook 1 to 2 minutes. Add flour, whisking constantly, 1 minute.
- Whisk in wine, cream, Italian seasoning, and ¼ tsp each salt and pepper; cook 5 to 8 minutes or until reduced and thickened.
- Add pork, and cook until coated and thoroughly heated.

- 1 (24-oz) pkg refrigerated mashed potatoes (such as Simply Potatoes)
- 6 Tbsp butter, divided
- 3 Tbsp chopped fresh chives
- 2 Tbsp minced garlic
- ¾ tsp pepper, divided
- 2 (12-oz) pkg green beans
Side Dish Instructions
- Cook potatoes according to package directions. Stir in ¼ cup butter, chives, garlic, and ½ tsp pepper.
- Meanwhile, cook green beans according to package directions. Stir in 2 Tbsp butter and ¼ tsp pepper.
