Bacon Double Cheeseburgers
Ingredients
- 1 (16-oz) pkg bacon
- 2 lb ground beef
- 3 Tbsp plus ¾ cup barbecue sauce, divided
- 1 (8-oz) pkg sliced Cheddar cheese
- 6 hamburger buns, split and toasted
Instructions
- Cook bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until crisp; drain on paper towels.
- Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Combine beef and 3 Tbsp barbecue sauce in a bowl. Shape mixture into 12 thin patties; season with salt and pepper.
- Grill patties, covered, 4 minutes per side or until no longer pink. Top each with cheese.
- Spread remaining barbecue sauce on buns. Serve 2 patties on each bun, and top with bacon.
