Mediterranean Burgers with Curry Ketchup

Ingredients

  • ¾ lb ground beef
  • 2 Tbsp chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1 Tbsp chopped fresh mint
  • ¼ tsp ground coriander
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ red onion, cut into ¼-inch-thick rings
  • 2 hamburger buns
  • 2 Tbsp ketchup
  • ¼ tsp curry powder
  • ½ (5-oz) pkg crumbled feta cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Combine beef, cilantro, mint, coriander, and garlic powder in a bowl. Season mixture lightly with salt and pepper. Form mixture into 2 patties.
  2. Grill patties, covered, 5 to 6 minutes per side or to desired doneness. Grill onion slices 2 to 3 minutes per side or until tender. Grill buns, cut sides down, 1 minute.
  3. Stir together ketchup and curry powder; spread on buns. Serve burgers on buns with onion and cheese.
