Old-Fashioned Peach Cobbler

Ingredients
- ¼ cup butter, melted
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- ¾ cup sugar, divided
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon, divided
- 2 tsp baking powder
- ¼ tsp salt
- ¾ cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 4 large peaches, sliced
- 1 (48-oz) carton vanilla ice cream
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Pour butter into an 8- or 9-inch cast-iron skillet.
- Whisk together flour, ½ cup sugar, ½ tsp cinnamon, baking powder, and salt. Whisk in milk and vanilla. Pour over butter in skillet. Top with peaches.
- Stir together ¼ cup sugar and ½ tsp cinnamon. Sprinkle over peaches.
- Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until golden brown and center is set. Cool slightly.
- Spoon cobbler into bowls. Top with ice cream.
