Grilled Bananas with Honey-Peanut Butter Chocolate Sauce

Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp unsweetened baking cocoa
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • 2 Tbsp creamy peanut butter
  • Pinch of ground cinnamon
  • 4 large bananas (do not peel)
  • 3 Tbsp honey

Instructions

  1. Bring cocoa, chocolate chips, sugar, and coconut milk to a boil in a saucepan over medium-high heat. Reduce heat to simmer.
  2. Stir in peanut butter and cinnamon. Simmer 10 minutes, stirring often. Remove from heat, and cool.
  3. Preheat grill or grill pan to medium heat. Cut each banana in half lengthwise, keeping the peel on. Grill bananas, cut sides down and covered, 3 minutes. Flip bananas over, brush with honey, and grill 3 minutes longer.
  4. Drizzle bananas with sauce before serving.
