Smoky Grilled Flank Steak

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • ¾ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp ground cumin
  • ¼ tsp cayenne pepper
  • ¼ cup avocado oil (or use olive oil)
  • 3 Tbsp minced garlic
  • 2 lb flank steak

Instructions

  1. Preheat grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Stir together paprika, salt, cumin, cayenne pepper, oil, and garlic. Rub steak with spice mixture.
  2. Grill steak, covered, 5 to 6 minutes per side or to desired doneness. Let stand 10 minutes before thinly slicing across the grain.
