Chicken Pot Pie

Ingredients

  • 2 cups frozen mixed vegetables
  • 1½ cups frozen seasoning blend (diced onion, bell peppers and celery)
  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 (10.75-oz) can cream of chicken soup
  • 2 Tbsp water
  • 1 tsp poultry seasoning
  • ½ tsp granulated garlic
  • 1 (10.2-oz) can refrigerated biscuit dough

Instructions

  1. Combine vegetables and seasoning blend in a 4-quart slow cooker. Top with chicken.
  2. Whisk together soup, 2 Tbsp water, poultry seasoning and garlic in a bowl; pour over chicken.
  3. Cover and cook on LOW 7 to 8 hours or until chicken is done.
  4. Bake biscuits according to package directions.
  5. Divide biscuits between individual serving plates; top with chicken mixture.

Side Dish Ingredients

  • 1 (5-oz) pkg chopped romaine lettuce
  • 1 tomato, chopped
  • 1 small cucumber, thinly sliced
  • ¼ cup refrigerated garlic Parmesan Italian vinaigrette (such as Marie's)

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Toss together all ingredients just before serving.
