Flank Steak with Orange-Avocado Salsa
Smoky Grilled Corn
Ingredients
- ½ lb flank steak
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 Tbsp lime juice, divided
- 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- ¼ tsp salt, divided
- ¼ tsp pepper, divided
- 1 orange, peeled and chopped
- 1 small avocado, chopped
- 1 small shallot, minced
- 1 Tbsp chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- Place steak in a large zip-top plastic freezer bag.
- Combine oil, 2 tsp lime juice, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic in a small bowl; pour over steak, turn to coat, and seal bag.
- Chill 1 hour. Remove steak from marinade; discard marinade.
- Preheat grill to medium-high heat; sprinkle steak with ⅛ tsp each salt and pepper.
- Grill 6 to 7 minutes per side or to desired doneness; let stand 10 minutes before slicing.
- Meanwhile, combine orange, avocado, shallot, parsley, 1 tsp lime juice, and ⅛ tsp each salt and pepper in a medium bowl; serve over steak.

- ¼ tsp smoked paprika
- ¼ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp pepper
Side Dish Instructions
- Preheat grill to medium-high heat.

- Grill 8 to 10 minutes, turning occasionally, until corn is tender.
