Easy Baby Back Ribs

Ingredients

  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • 5½ lb baby back pork ribs (2 slabs)
  • 1 (18-oz) bottle barbecue sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 300°F. Combine garlic powder, salt, and pepper; rub all over meaty side of ribs. Cut racks in half, if desired.
  2. Arrange ribs in a large roasting pan; cover tightly with foil.
  3. Bake 3 hours or until very tender; uncover and cool 15 minutes. Drain.
  4. Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Place ribs, meaty side up, on grill rack rubbed with oil; baste generously with barbecue sauce.
  5. Grill, covered, 10 minutes. Baste and grill 5 minutes longer or until sauce clings to ribs.

Side Dish Ingredients

  • 1 (28-oz) can baked beans
  • ⅓ cup packed brown sugar
  • 3 slices bacon, coarsely chopped
  • 1 (16-oz) pkg strawberries, sliced
  • 1 pint blueberries
  • 1 (8-oz) carton frozen whipped topping, thawed

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 300°F. Combine beans and brown sugar in a lightly greased 2-quart baking dish. Sprinkle with bacon.
  2. Bake 1 hour to 1 hour and 15 minutes or until bacon is cooked and beans are bubbly and thick.
  3. Layer berries and whipped topping in a bowl to serve.
