Grilled Italian Sausages and Brussels Sprouts
Foil-Wrapped Potatoes
Ingredients
- 1 (12-oz) pkg halved Brussels sprouts
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- 2 tsp maple syrup
- 2 tsp Dijon mustard
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp pepper
- 3 cloves garlic, crushed
- 6 sweet Italian turkey sausage links
Instructions
- Preheat grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Thread Brussels sprouts onto bamboo or metal skewers.
- Whisk together oil, maple syrup, mustard, salt, pepper, and garlic; drizzle over skewers.
- Grill skewers and sausage, covered, 8 minutes or until grill marks appear, turning occasionally.
Side Dish Ingredients
- 3 large russet potatoes, halved lengthwise and thinly sliced
- ½ onion, thinly sliced
- 2 Tbsp canola oil
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp crushed red pepper
Side Dish Instructions
- Preheat grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Toss together potatoes, onion, and oil on a 20-inch piece of heavy-duty foil. Sprinkle with salt and red pepper.
- Wrap foil around potatoes forming a pouch, and seal. Grill, covered, 15 to 20 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
