Jamaican Jerk Pork Chops with Onions

Ingredients
- 2 lb thick cut boneless pork chops
- 2 Tbsp Jamaican Jerk seasoning
- ½ tsp kosher salt
- 2 onions, sliced
- 6 Tbsp butter, diced
- ¼ cup water
Instructions
- Sprinkle pork chops with Jerk seasoning and salt.
- Arrange half of onions in a lightly greased 5- to 7-quart slow cooker. Arrange pork chops over onions. Top with remaining onions; dot with butter. Pour in water.
- Cover and cook on LOW 6 hours or until pork chops are tender.
Side Dish Ingredients
- 1 (16-oz) pkg tricolor coleslaw
- ¼ cup chopped fresh cilantro
- 2 jalapeño peppers, seeded and minced
- 2 Tbsp fresh lime juice
- 3 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- ¼ cup slivered almonds
Side Dish Instructions
- Toss together coleslaw, cilantro, jalapeños, lime juice, oil, and cumin in a large bowl. Let stand 10 minutes.
- Meanwhile, toast nuts in a dry skillet over medium-high heat 4 to 5 minutes or until golden and fragrant. Cool.
- Add nuts to slaw; toss.
