Pineapple-Banana Smoothie
Honey-Ginger Macadamia Nuts
Ingredients
- 3 cups pineapple chunks
- 3 bananas, cut into big pieces
- 1 (13.5-oz) can coconut milk
- ¼ cup raw honey
- 2 Tbsp fresh lime juice
- 1½ cups crushed or cubed ice
Instructions
- Process half of ingredients in a blender, scraping sides as needed. Add enough water to reach desired consistency. Pour into glasses.
- Repeat with remaining half of ingredients.
Side Dish Ingredients
- 1 cup macadamia nuts (or use walnuts or pecans)
- 1 Tbsp raw honey
- ⅛ tsp ground ginger
- Pinch of salt
Side Dish Instructions
- Heat a dry large skillet over medium-high heat. Add nuts, honey, ginger, and salt; cook 3 minutes or until honey and nuts are browned, stirring often. Cool. Serve warm or at room temperature.
