Smoked Sausage-Mozzarella Pizza

Ingredients

  • 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • ½ onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 (13-oz) pkg smoked sausage link, cut into ¼-inch-thick slices
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 (13.8-oz) can refrigerated pizza dough
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 (8-oz) pkg shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F. Cook bell pepper, onion, sausages, and garlic in hot oil in a large skillet over medium heat until sausage is browned and vegetables are tender.
  2. Roll out or press dough onto a lightly greased large baking sheet or pizza pan. Bake 5 minutes.
  3. Spread pizza sauce over crust. Top with 1 cup cheese, bell pepper mixture, and 1 cup cheese. Bake 15 minutes longer or until crust is golden brown.
