Smoked Sausage-Mozzarella Pizza
Ingredients
- 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
- ½ onion, thinly sliced
- 1 (13-oz) pkg smoked sausage link, cut into ¼-inch-thick slices
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 (13.8-oz) can refrigerated pizza dough
- 1 cup pizza sauce
- 1 (8-oz) pkg shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F. Cook bell pepper, onion, sausages, and garlic in hot oil in a large skillet over medium heat until sausage is browned and vegetables are tender.
- Roll out or press dough onto a lightly greased large baking sheet or pizza pan. Bake 5 minutes.
- Spread pizza sauce over crust. Top with 1 cup cheese, bell pepper mixture, and 1 cup cheese. Bake 15 minutes longer or until crust is golden brown.
