Tuna Steaks with Garlic-Chive Sauce

Ingredients

  • 3 (6-oz) tuna steaks
  • ¾ tsp kosher salt, divided
  • 1 Tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1½ tsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 3 Tbsp olive-oil mayonnaise
  • 1 Tbsp chopped fresh chives
  • 1½ tsp lemon juice
  • 1 clove garlic, minced

Instructions

  1. Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Sprinkle fish with ½ tsp salt. Combine vinegar, oil, and honey.
  2. Grill fish, covered, 2 minutes per side or to desired doneness, basting with vinegar mixture.
  3. Combine mayonnaise, chives, lemon juice, garlic, and ¼ tsp salt. Serve fish with sauce.

  • 2 Tbsp chopped sweet onion
  • 2 Tbsp chopped fresh dill
  • 1½ Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1½ tsp honey
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp pepper
  • ½ (16-oz) pkg broccoli slaw
  • 2 Tbsp pine nuts, toasted

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Grate zest and squeeze juice from lemon into a bowl. Whisk in mayonnaise, onion, dill, oil, honey, salt, and pepper.
  2. Add slaw; toss. Sprinkle with nuts.
