Salted Caramel Pretzel Blondies with Toffee Chips

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups packed brown sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 Tbsp vanilla extract
  • 2¼ cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 (8-oz) pkg toffee chips
  • ½ cup salted caramel ice cream topping, warmed
  • 2 cups salted pretzels, slightly crushed

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. In a medium saucepan, combine butter and brown sugar; cook over medium-low heat until butter is melted and mixture is smooth. Set aside to cool sightly.
  2. Whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl. Whisk in butter mixture. Add eggs, one at a time, whisking well after each addition. Stir in toffee chips.
  3. Spoon batter into a foil-lined, lightly greased 13x9-inch pan. Drizzle caramel  topping over batter and gently swirl with a knife. Sprinkle with crushed pretzels, pressing gently to adhere.
  4. Bake 30 minutes or until center is set. Let cool completely before cutting.
