Chicken Nugget Mac 'n' Cheese Bake

- ½ (32-oz) pkg frozen breaded chicken nuggets
- 1 cup elbow macaroni
- 2 Tbsp butter
- 2 Tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1½ cups shredded white Cheddar cheese, divided
Instructions
- Bake desired amount of chicken nuggets according to package directions. Cool slightly, and cut into bite-size pieces. Adjust oven temperature to 400°F.
- Meanwhile, cook macaroni according to package directions.
- Melt butter in a large saucepan over medium heat; add flour, and cook, stirring constantly, 2 minutes. Stir in broth until smooth; cook 4 minutes or until thickened and bubbly.
- Stir in 1 cup cheese until melted. Stir in pasta and chicken. Spoon into a greased small baking dish; sprinkle with ½ cup cheese.
- Bake 12 to 15 minutes or until hot and bubbly.

- ½ Tbsp butter
Side Dish Instructions
- Cook peas according to package directions. Toss with butter. Season with salt to taste.
