Pork Chops with Fresh Creole Sauce
Roasted Green Beans and Cheese GritsIngredients
- 6 (6-oz) bone-in pork chops
- 1 Tbsp Creole seasoning
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- 2 tsp minced garlic
- 1(10-oz) pkg frozen seasoning blend
- 1 pint grape tomatoes
- 2 Tbsp chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- Sprinkle pork with Creole seasoning. Cook pork, in batches, in hot oil in a large skillet 4 to 5 minutes per side or until done; remove from skillet.
- Sauté garlic, seasoning blend, and tomatoes in skillet 3 minutes or until tender. Return pork to skillet. Sprinkle with parsley.

- 1 lb green beans, trimmed
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- 2 cups milk
- 2 cups water
- 1 cup quick-cooking grits
- 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1 Tbsp butter
Side Dish Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F. Toss green beans with oil on a rimmed baking sheet, and spread in an even layer. Bake 10 minutes or until tender. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
- Combine milk and water in a medium saucepan; bring to boil, and gradually stir in grits. Cook until thickened. Stir in cheese and butter; season to taste with salt and pepper.
