Grilled Kale-Beef Burgers
Sautéed Lemon-Garlic BroccoliniIngredients
- 1½ lb grass-fed ground beef
- 1 cup finely chopped kale
- ½ onion, minced
- 1 Tbsp Montreal steak seasoning
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1 Tbsp coconut oil, melted
Instructions
- Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Mix together beef, kale, onion, steak seasoning, salt, and pepper in a large bowl just until blended using your hands. Shape into 6 patties.
- Grill patties on a grill rack rubbed with oil, covered, 6 minutes per side or until centers are no longer pink.
Side Dish Ingredients
- 1 lb Broccolini, trimmed
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- ⅛ tsp crushed red pepper
- 1 Tbsp avocado oil
- ¼ cup organic beef broth
- ¼ tsp lemon zest
- 2 tsp fresh lemon juice
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
Side Dish Instructions
- Sauté Broccolini, garlic, and red pepper in hot oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat 4 minutes.
- Add broth. Cover, reduce heat to medium-low, and cook 6 minutes or until tender. Stir in lemon zest, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper.
