Barbecue Crescent Cups

Ingredients

  • 2 lb ground beef
  • 2 cups barbecue sauce
  • 2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 (8-count) cans refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1½ cups shredded Cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Cook beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat until browned and crumbly; drain.
  2. Stir in barbecue sauce, onion powder, and salt; bring to a simmer.
  3. Meanwhile, unroll 1 package of crescent rolls. Press perforations in dough together to make one piece. Cut dough into 6 equal pieces.
  4. Repeat with second package for a total of 12 pieces.
  5. Press each dough piece into a cup of a lightly greased 12-cup muffin pan.
  6. Fill cups with meat mixture; top with cheese. Bake 15 minutes or until golden brown.

Side Dish Ingredients

  • 1 (11-oz) pkg frozen roasted seasoned corn (such as Green Giant)
  • 6 (3.9-oz) containers natural applesauce, chilled

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Cook corn according to package directions. Season with salt to taste.
  2. Serve applesauce on each plate.
