Barbecue Crescent Cups
Fiesta Corn and Natural Applesauce
Ingredients
- 2 lb ground beef
- 2 cups barbecue sauce
- 2 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 (8-count) cans refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 1½ cups shredded Cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F. Cook beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat until browned and crumbly; drain.
- Stir in barbecue sauce, onion powder, and salt; bring to a simmer.
- Meanwhile, unroll 1 package of crescent rolls. Press perforations in dough together to make one piece. Cut dough into 6 equal pieces.
- Repeat with second package for a total of 12 pieces.
- Press each dough piece into a cup of a lightly greased 12-cup muffin pan.
- Fill cups with meat mixture; top with cheese. Bake 15 minutes or until golden brown.
Side Dish Ingredients
- 1 (11-oz) pkg frozen roasted seasoned corn (such as Green Giant)
- 6 (3.9-oz) containers natural applesauce, chilled
Side Dish Instructions
- Cook corn according to package directions. Season with salt to taste.
- Serve applesauce on each plate.
