Crunchy Taco Burgers

Ingredients

  • ¾ lb ground beef
  • 1 Tbsp taco sauce
  • ½ (1-oz) envelope taco seasoning mix
  • ½ (8-oz) pkg sliced pepper-Jack cheese
  • ½ (8-oz) container refrigerated guacamole
  • 2 Tbsp mayonnaise
  • 2 hamburger buns, split and toasted
  • ½ (8-oz) pkg shredded lettuce
  • 1 tomato, thinly sliced
  • ½ (11-oz) pkg nacho cheese tortilla chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Combine beef, taco sauce, and seasoning mix; shape mixture into 2 large patties.
  2. Grill patties, covered, 5 to 6 minutes per side or until centers are no longer pink. Top each patty with cheese, and let stand 1 minute until melted.
  3. Meanwhile, stir together guacamole and mayonnaise. Spread mixture on buns. Serve burgers on buns with lettuce, tomato, and desired amount of chips.

Side Dish Ingredients

  • ½ (32-oz) pkg frozen crinkle-cut French fries
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • ½ (1-oz) envelope taco seasoning mix

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Bake fries according to package directions until crispy. Toss with oil, and sprinkle with taco seasoning; toss.
