BLT Steak Salad with Creamy Dressing

Ingredients

  • ¾ lb top sirloin steak
  • ½ Tbsp Montreal steak seasoning
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 (9-oz) pkg chopped leafy romaine lettuce
  • 1 cup grape tomatoes
  • 4 slices fully-cooked bacon, chopped
  • ¼ cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • ¼ cup refrigerated Ranch dressing

Instructions

  1. Rub steak with seasoning; cook in hot oil in a cast-iron skillet 5 to 6 minutes per side or to desired doneness. Let steak rest 5 minutes; cut into 1-inch cubes.
  2. Combine lettuce, tomatoes, bacon, and cheese in a serving bowl. Top with steak; drizzle with dressing.

Side Dish Ingredients

  • 3 Tbsp butter, softened
  • ½ tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • ½ (16-oz) French baguette

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Preheat broiler. Combine butter, oregano, and garlic in a small bowl; cut bread in half lengthwise and spread butter mixture over cut sides of bread.
  2. Broil bread just until toasted; slice.
