Balsamic Pork Chops with Apples
Roasted Broccoli
Ingredients
- 2 (1½-inch-thick) boneless pork loin chops
- 2 Tbsp all-purpose flour
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- 2 Tbsp butter
- 1 apple, cored and thinly sliced (such as Gala)
- ½ onion, thinly sliced
- ¼ cup chicken broth
- ¼ cup balsamic vinegar
- ¼ tsp crushed dried rosemary
Instructions
- Lightly season pork chops with salt and pepper; dredge in flour, shaking off excess.
- Cook pork in hot oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat 2 minutes per side or until browned. Remove from skillet, and set aside.
- Melt butter in skillet over medium heat; add apple and onion. Cook, stirring, 2 minutes.
- Stir in broth, vinegar, and rosemary; bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer 5 minutes.
- Return pork chops to pan, and cook 3 minutes or until chops are done and sauce is thickened.

- ½ (12-oz) pkg broccoli florets
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
Side Dish Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- Toss together broccoli and oil on a rimmed baking sheet. Bake 10 minutes or until crisp-tender; season with salt and pepper to taste.
