Quick and Easy
Asian Pepper Steak

Ingredients
- 1½ lb top sirloin steak, trimmed
- 2 Tbsp vegetable oil
- 2 (12-oz) pkg fajita vegetable mix (sliced bell pepper and onion)
- 2 Tbsp minced garlic
- 1 (14.5-oz) can chicken broth
- ¼ cup soy sauce
- ⅓ cup cold water
- 3 Tbsp cornstarch
- 3 (8.5-oz) pouches microwavable jasmine rice
Instructions
- Slice steak across the grain into ⅛-inch-thick slices. Cook steak in hot oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat 4 minutes or until just browned. Remove from skillet, and set aside.
- Add fajita mix and garlic to skillet. Cook, stirring, 5 to 6 minutes or until just tender.
- Return steak to skillet; add broth and soy sauce. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer 5 minutes.
- Whisk together water and cornstarch; add to skillet and cook, stirring 2 minutes or until sauce is thickened.
- Heat rice according to package directions. Serve steak and sauce over rice.
