Ground Turkey Pasta Casserole
Biscuits and Honey
Ingredients
- 8 oz penne pasta
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- 12 oz sliced mushrooms
- 2 zucchini, chopped
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1 (24-oz) jar spaghetti sauce
- 1 Tbsp sugar
- 1½ tsp garlic salt
- 1½ cups cottage cheese
- ½ cup chopped fresh basil
- ½ cup shredded Parmesan cheese
- 1 (8-oz) pkg shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Cook pasta according to package directions; drain.
- Meanwhile, heat oil in large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add mushrooms to skillet; cook 4 minutes. Add zucchini; cook 7 minutes; and set mushroom mixture aside on a plate.
- Add turkey to skillet; cook until browned and crumbly. Add spaghetti sauce, sugar, and garlic salt; cook 5 minutes.
- Combine cottage cheese, basil, and Parmesan cheese in a small bowl.
- Spoon half of pasta in a greased 13-x 9-inch pan; top with ⅓ cup spaghetti sauce, half of zucchini mixture, half of cottage cheese mixture and one-third of mozzarella cheese; repeat layers.
- Top with remaining spaghetti sauce and mozzarella cheese; cover and bake 45 minutes or until bubbly.

- Honey
Side Dish Instructions
- Bake desired number of biscuits according to package directions. Drizzle with honey.
