Apple and Cheddar Grilled Cheese
Sweet Potato Fries
Ingredients
- 1½ Tbsp Dijon mustard (or use yellow mustard)
- 3 Tbsp mayonnaise
- 12 (1-oz) slices Italian bread (or use sandwich bread)
- 2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1 large apple, peeled, cored and thinly sliced
- 2 Tbsp butter
Instructions
- Combine mustard and mayonnaise in a bowl; spread onto bread slices.
- Sprinkle cheese over mayo on 6 bread slices; arrange apple slices on cheese; top with remaining 6 bread slices.
- Melt 1 Tbsp butter in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Place 3 sandwiches in skillet; cook 2 to 3 minutes per side or until golden brown and cheese melts.
- Repeat procedure with 1 Tbsp butter and 3 sandwiches. Cut sandwiches in half.

- 2 (20-oz) pkg frozen sweet potato fries with sea salt
- Ketchup
Side Dish Instructions
- Bake fries according to package directions. Serve with ketchup.
