Crescent Roll Ground Beef Casserole
Creamed Spinach and Baby CarrotsIngredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 (24-oz) jar pasta sauce
- 1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 (8-oz) can refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 2 Tbsp butter, melted
- ¼ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese (or use grated cheese from a can)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Cook beef in a cast-iron skillet over medium heat until browned and crumbly; drain and return to skillet. Add pasta sauce, and season lightly with salt and pepper; cook until thoroughly heated. Sprinkle with mozzarella.
- Unroll crescent dough, and arrange triangles over cheese in skillet. Drizzle with butter; sprinkle with Parmesan.
- Bake 20 minutes or until crust is golden brown. Store leftovers in refrigerator. Pack in lunch boxes, if desired.
Side Dish Ingredients
- 1 (9-oz) pkg frozen creamed spinach
- ½ cup baby carrots
Side Dish Instructions
- Cook spinach according to package directions in microwave. Stir before serving.
- Serve carrots on each plate.
