Crescent Roll Ground Beef Casserole

Creamed Spinach and Baby Carrots

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 (24-oz) jar pasta sauce
  • 1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 (8-oz) can refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 2 Tbsp butter, melted
  • ¼ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese (or use grated cheese from a can)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Cook beef in a cast-iron skillet over medium heat until browned and crumbly; drain and return to skillet. Add pasta sauce, and season lightly with salt and pepper; cook until thoroughly heated. Sprinkle with mozzarella.
  2. Unroll crescent dough, and arrange triangles over cheese in skillet. Drizzle with butter; sprinkle with Parmesan.
  3. Bake 20 minutes or until crust is golden brown. Store leftovers in refrigerator. Pack in lunch boxes, if desired.

Side Dish Ingredients

  • 1 (9-oz) pkg frozen creamed spinach
  • ½ cup baby carrots

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Cook spinach according to package directions in microwave. Stir before serving.
  2. Serve carrots on each plate.
