Buffalo Chicken Wings

Bibb Lettuce with Buttermilk Dressing

Ingredients

  • 3½ lb frozen chicken wings
  • 2 tsp seasoning salt
  • ⅔ cup buffalo wing sauce
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Line a large rimmed baking sheet or roasting pan with foil; add frozen wings.
  2. Sprinkle with seasoning salt, and toss until coated; spread wings in a single layer.
  3. Bake 35 minutes; brush wing sauce onto each wing, and bake 15 minutes longer.
  4. Stir together remaining wing sauce and melted butter. Toss with wings before serving.

Side Dish Ingredients

  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 6 Tbsp buttermilk
  • 3 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp chopped fresh dill (or use ½ tsp dried dill)
  • ¾ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • 1 shallot, finely minced
  • 2 heads Bibb lettuce, torn

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Whisk together mayonnaise, buttermilk, lemon juice, dill, salt, pepper, and shallot; add lettuce, and toss.
