Upside-Down Pizza Skillet

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 lb ground Italian pork sausage
  • ½ cup chopped onion
  • ¼ tsp crushed red pepper
  • 1 (14-oz) jar gluten-free pizza sauce (such as Prego)
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 (4-oz) pkg gluten-free seasoned croutons
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook beef, sausage, onion, and red pepper in a large skillet over medium heat, stirring until beef is browned and crumbly; drain and return to skillet.
  2. Stir in pizza sauce and water; bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer 2 minutes. Top meat mixture with croutons, and sprinkle with cheese. Cover and cook 3 to 4 minutes or until cheese is melted.

Side Dish Ingredients

  • 2 (12-oz) pkg vegetable medley
  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp garlic powder

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Steam vegetables according to package directions; toss with butter and garlic powder. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
