Upside-Down Pizza Skillet
Steamed Mixed VegetablesIngredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 lb ground Italian pork sausage
- ½ cup chopped onion
- ¼ tsp crushed red pepper
- 1 (14-oz) jar gluten-free pizza sauce (such as Prego)
- ½ cup water
- 1 (4-oz) pkg gluten-free seasoned croutons
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Cook beef, sausage, onion, and red pepper in a large skillet over medium heat, stirring until beef is browned and crumbly; drain and return to skillet.
- Stir in pizza sauce and water; bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer 2 minutes. Top meat mixture with croutons, and sprinkle with cheese. Cover and cook 3 to 4 minutes or until cheese is melted.
Side Dish Ingredients
- 2 (12-oz) pkg vegetable medley
- 2 Tbsp butter
- 1 tsp garlic powder
Side Dish Instructions
- Steam vegetables according to package directions; toss with butter and garlic powder. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
