Honey-Garlic Shrimp
Green Onion RiceIngredients
- 2 Tbsp butter
- ¾ lb peeled and deveined, medium-size raw shrimp
- ½ red bell pepper, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- ¼ tsp ground ginger
- 3 Tbsp honey
- 1 tsp cornstarch
Instructions
- Melt butter in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add shrimp, bell pepper, and garlic; sprinkle with ginger, and season lightly with salt and pepper.
- Cook, stirring occasionally, until shrimp are beginning to turn pink.
- Stir together honey and cornstarch in a small bowl; add to skillet, and cook 1 minute or until thickened and shrimp turn pink. Serve over Green Onion Rice recipe.
Side Dish Ingredients
- ¾ cup long-grain white rice
- 2 green onions, chopped
Side Dish Instructions
- Cook rice according to package directions; stir in onions, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
