Greek-Style Gyros
Roasted Peppers and OnionIngredients
- 1 lb ground lamb (or use ground beef)
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 Tbsp Greek seasoning
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ red onion, sliced
- 8 iceberg lettuce leaves
- 2 Roma tomatoes, chopped
- ⅓ cup crumbled feta cheese
- ½ cup tzatziki dip with cucumber and garlic
Instructions
- Cook lamb in hot oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat 5 to 6 minutes or until browned and crumbly. Add Greek seasoning, salt, and onion; cook 5 to 6 minutes or until onion is tender.
- For each wrap, stack 2 lettuce leaves. Fill with meat mixture, and sprinkle with tomatoes and cheese. Roll up. Serve with dip.

- 1 red onion
- 1 red bell pepper
- 1 green bell pepper
- 3 Tbsp olive oil
- ½ tsp garlic salt
- ¼ tsp pepper
Side Dish Instructions
- Preheat oven to 450°F. Slice onion and bell peppers. Place vegetables in a large roasting pan; toss with oil, garlic salt, and pepper.
- Roast 25 minutes until lightly browned and tender, stirring occasionally.
