Coconut-Almond Sauce Steak

Ingredients

  • ¾ lb skirt steak
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ⅛ tsp pepper
  • ½ (13.5-oz) can unsweetened coconut milk
  • 2 Tbsp almond butter
  • 1½ Tbsp honey
  • 1 Tbsp lime juice
  • 1 Tbsp lower-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tsp fish sauce
  • ¼ tsp crushed red pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Sprinkle steak with salt and pepper. Grill, covered, 4 to 5 minutes per side or to desired doneness. Let stand 10 minutes before thinly slicing across the grain.
  2. Meanwhile, whisk together coconut milk, almond butter, honey, lime juice, soy sauce, fish sauce, and red pepper in a large saucepan. Cook over medium-high heat 3 to 4 minutes or until sauce is smooth and thoroughly heated. Serve with steak.

  • ⅛ tsp salt
  • ⅛ tsp pepper

  1. Cook Broccolini and garlic in hot oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat 4 minutes or until just tender; season with salt and pepper.
