Lemon-Garlic Shrimp Pasta

Ingredients
- 1 (16-oz) pkg linguine
- ½ cup butter
- 2 lb fresh or frozen medium white shrimp, thawed, peeled and deveined
- 1 Tbsp minced garlic
- ½ tsp crushed red pepper
- 1 pint grape tomatoes, halved
- 2 (8-oz) pkg asparagus tips, cut into 2-inch pieces
- 3 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 2 Tbsp chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package directions; set aside, and keep warm.
- Melt butter in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Season shrimp with salt and pepper; add to skillet, and cook 2 minutes or just until pink. Remove from skillet; set aside.
- Add garlic and red pepper to skillet; cook 30 seconds. Add tomatoes and asparagus; cook, stirring, 4 minutes. Add lemon juice, parsley, and shrimp; cook 1 minute, just until shrimp are firm. Toss with hot cooked pasta.
