Upside-Down Pizza Skillet
Green Beans and Italian Bread
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 lb ground Italian pork sausage
- ½ cup chopped onion
- ¼ tsp crushed red pepper
- 1 (15-oz) can pizza sauce
- ½ cup water
- 1 (5-oz) pkg garlic-and-butter seasoned croutons
- 1 (8-oz) pkg shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Cook beef, sausage, onion, and red pepper in a large skillet over medium heat, until beef is browned and crumbly; drain and return to skillet.
- Stir in pizza sauce and water; bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer 2 minutes. Top meat mixture with croutons, and sprinkle with cheese. Cover and cook 3 to 4 minutes or until cheese is melted.

- 2 (8-oz) pkg thin green beans
- 1 (13.2-oz) can refrigerated crusty Italian loaf
Side Dish Instructions
- Steam green beans according to package directions; season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Bake bread according to package directions.
