Upside-Down Pizza Skillet

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 lb ground Italian pork sausage
  • ½ cup chopped onion
  • ¼ tsp crushed red pepper
  • 1 (15-oz) can pizza sauce
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 (5-oz) pkg garlic-and-butter seasoned croutons
  • 1 (8-oz) pkg shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook beef, sausage, onion, and red pepper in a large skillet over medium heat, until beef is browned and crumbly; drain and return to skillet.
  2. Stir in pizza sauce and water; bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer 2 minutes. Top meat mixture with croutons, and sprinkle with cheese. Cover and cook 3 to 4 minutes or until cheese is melted.

Side Dish Ingredients

  • 2 (8-oz) pkg thin green beans
  • 1 (13.2-oz) can refrigerated crusty Italian loaf

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Steam green beans according to package directions; season with salt and pepper to taste.
  2. Bake bread according to package directions.
