Ingredients

  • 6 (6-oz) salmon fillets
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 3 Tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 3 Tbsp white wine
  • 1 Tbsp maple syrup
  • 1½ tsp cornstarch
  • ¾ tsp Sriracha
  • ½ tsp ground ginger
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

Instructions

  1. Preheat broiler. Place salmon on a foil-lined baking sheet; brush with oil.
  2. Broil 8 to 10 minutes or to desired doneness; remove from oven.
  3. Meanwhile, whisk together soy sauce, wine, maple syrup, cornstarch, Sriracha, ginger, and garlic in a small saucepan.
  4. Cook 3 to 4 minutes until slightly thickened. Brush over salmon.

Side Dish Ingredients

  • ½ lb carrots, cut diagonally into thin slices
  • 1 (8-oz) pkg sugar snap peas, cut diagonally into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 red bell pepper, halved and thinly sliced
  • ⅓ cup orange juice
  • 1 Tbsp brown sugar
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Steam carrots, snap peas, and bell pepper in a steamer basket over boiling water 5 minutes or until crisp-tender.
  2. Cook vegetables, orange juice, sugar, salt, and pepper in a large skillet over medium-high heat until liquid is thick and syrupy, stirring constantly.
