Beef and Gravy Fries

Ingredients

  • 1 (32-oz) pkg frozen French fries
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 (0.87-oz) envelope brown gravy mix
  • 1 (14.5-oz) can beef broth
  • 2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 (8-oz) pkg shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 green onions, sliced (optional)

Instructions

  1. Bake fries according to package directions.
  2. Meanwhile, cook beef in a large skillet over medium heat until browned and crumbly; drain and return to skillet.
  3. Stir together gravy mix, broth, and Worcestershire sauce; add to meat, and cook, stirring until thickened. Increase oven temperature to broil.
  4. Top fries with beef mixture and cheese; broil 2 minutes or until cheese is melted. Sprinkle with onions, if desired. Serve with a wide spatula.

  • 3 pears, peeled and chopped
  • 1 (4.3-oz) pkg pomegranate seeds (arils)
