Spicy Ground Beef-Bell Pepper Stir-Fry
Steamed Broccoli RabeIngredients
- 2 lb grass-fed ground beef
- 2 Tbsp dark sesame oil
- 2 red bell peppers, thinly sliced
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ cup coconut aminos
- ½ cup organic chicken broth
- 1 Tbsp Sriracha hot sauce
- 2 Tbsp arrowroot
Instructions
- Cook beef in hot oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat 10 minutes or until browned and crumbly. Remove from skillet.
- Add bell pepper, onion, and garlic to skillet; cook 8 minutes or until tender.
- Whisk together coconut aminos, broth, hot sauce, and arrowroot in a small bowl until blended.
- Add beef and sauce mixture to skillet. Bring to a boil; cook 1 to 2 minutes, stirring constantly, or until sauce is thickened.
Side Dish Ingredients
- 2 lb broccoli rabe, trimmed and cut into 2-inch pieces (or use broccoli florets)
- 2 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
- ¾ tsp garlic salt
Side Dish Instructions
- Steam broccoli rabe in a steamer basket over boiling water 4 minutes or until tender.
- Transfer to a large bowl; add oil, lemon juice, and garlic salt; toss.
