Bacon-Blue Cheese Steakhouse Salad

Ingredients
- 4 slices center cut bacon
- 1½ lb sirloin steak
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp pepper
- 2 Tbsp chopped fresh thyme
- 2 (8.5-oz) pouches ready penne pasta
- 1 (10-oz) pkg spinach
- ½ cup dried cherries
- ½ cup sliced almonds
- ½ cup crumbled blue cheese
Instructions
- Cook bacon in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat 6 minutes or until crisp; drain, reserving drippings in skillet. Coarsely crumble bacon.
- Sprinkle steak with salt and pepper. Cook steak in hot drippings in skillet 5 to 6 minutes per side or to desired doneness. Sprinkle with thyme. Let stand 5 minutes before slicing across the grain.
- Meanwhile, cook pasta according to package directions. Toss pasta with spinach. Top pasta with steak; sprinkle with cherries, nuts, bacon, and cheese.
