Ham, Cheddar and Apple Waffle Sammies

Ingredients

  • 8 (0.75-oz) frozen whole-grain waffles
  • ¼ cup Dijon mustard
  • 4 (0.67-oz) slices reduced-fat Cheddar cheese
  • ¼ lb thin deli-sliced low-sodium ham 
  • 1 Granny Smith apple, cored and thinly sliced

Instructions

  1. Prepare waffles according to package directions.
  2. Spread mustard over one side of each waffle. Layer 4 waffles with cheese, ham and apple slices.
  3. Top with remaining waffles, mustard sides down.

Side Dish Ingredients

  • 2 cups seedless red grapes

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Chill grapes until ready to serve.
