Open-Faced Ham-and-Provolone Sourdough Sandwiches
Strawberries with Fresh Mint
Ingredients
- 4 (1.5-oz) slices sourdough bread
- ¼ cup reduced-fat mayonnaise
- ½ lb thin deli-sliced low-sodium ham
- 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 4 (0.67-oz) slices reduced-fat provolone cheese
- 8 large fresh basil leaves, torn
Instructions
- Preheat broiler.
- Place bread on a baking sheet. Spread mayonnaise over bread; top with ham, bell pepper and cheese.
- Broil 2 to 3 minutes or until cheese is melted and golden. Sprinkle with basil before serving.

- 3 cups quartered strawberries
- ¼ cup chopped fresh mint
- 2 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 2 Tbsp honey
Side Dish Instructions
- Gently toss together all ingredients in a large bowl.
- Chill until ready to serve.
