Seven-Layer Dip Taco Boats

Ingredients

  • 1½ lb ground beef
  • 1 (10.9-oz) pkg stand-and-stuff soft taco dinner kit
  • ⅓ cup water
  • 1 (15-oz) can refried beans
  • 1 (8-oz) pkg shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 (8-oz) pkg shredded lettuce
  • 1 (8-oz) carton sour cream
  • 2 Roma tomatoes, chopped

Instructions

  1. Cook beef in a large skillet over medium heat until browned and crumbly; drain and return to skillet. Stir in seasoning mix from taco kit and water. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer until thickened.
  2. Meanwhile, heat taco shells according to package directions. Heat beans according to package directions, and spread in bottom of each taco shell.
  3. Top with meat mixture, cheese, lettuce, sour cream, taco sauce from kit, and tomatoes.

  • 2 (6-oz) boxes Spanish-style rice
