Southern Pork and Tomato Grilled Cheese Sandwich
Potato Chips and Apple Slices
Ingredients
- 12 slices home-style white bread
- 2 (8-oz) pkg sliced Cheddar cheese
- 1 (16-oz) pkg shredded pork in barbecue sauce
- 2 tomatoes, thinly sliced
- 1 (2.1-oz) pkg fully-cooked bacon
- ½ cup butter, softened
- 1 (5-oz) pkg baby arugula
Instructions
- Top half of bread slices with 1 slice cheese. Arrange pork over cheese. Top with tomato slices and bacon.
- Place remaining cheese slices over bacon, and cover with remaining bread slices. Spread softened butter over outsides of sandwiches.
- Cook sandwiches in a large nonstick skillet over medium-low heat, 4 to 5 minutes per side or until bread is toasted and cheese is melted.
- Separate bread slices, and add arugula to each.

- 1 (10-oz) pkg potato chips
- 3 apples, sliced

- Serve chips and apples with sandwiches.
