Chocolate Bliss Balls
Ingredients
- 1½ cups raw almonds
- 15 pitted Medjool dates
- 2 Tbsp chia seeds
- 1 Tbsp unsweetened baking cocoa
- 2 tsp coconut oil
- 1 tsp orange zest
- 2 (9-oz) pkg Paleo dark chocolate chips
Instructions
- Process nuts in a food processor until finely ground. Add dates, chia seeds, cocoa, oil, and orange zest. Process until well blended and mixture can be rolled into balls.
- Roll mixture into 1-inch balls. Place on a wax paper-lined baking sheet or parchment paper, and chill 30 minutes.
- Microwave chocolate chips in a microwave-safe dish until chocolate is melted and smooth, stirring at 30-second intervals.
- Dip each ball in chocolate, and return to baking sheet. Sprinkle with additional chopped nuts, if desired. Chill 30 minutes or until chocolate is set.
