Deep-Dish Meatball Pizza
Mixed Vegetables
Ingredients
- 1 (16-oz) pkg frozen Italian-style meatballs
- 1 (24-oz) jar pasta sauce
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 Tbsp yellow cornmeal
- 1 (13.8-oz) can refrigerated pizza dough
- 2 (8-oz) pkg shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F. Cook meatballs in a large skillet over medium heat until browned and thoroughly cooked; drain and toss with pasta sauce.
- Brush oil over bottom of a 13-x 9-inch baking dish, and sprinkle with cornmeal.
- Unroll pizza dough and fit in pan, letting edges hang over sides of pan.
- Sprinkle 2 cups cheese over crust; top with saucy meatballs, and 2 cups cheese. Fold edges of dough into pan.
- Bake 20 to 30 minutes or until crust is browned and center is bubbly.
Side Dish Ingredients
- 2 (12-oz) pkg frozen broccoli, cauliflower and carrots
- 2 Tbsp butter
- 1 tsp garlic powder
Side Dish Instructions
- Microwave vegetables according to package directions.
- Stir in butter and garlic powder; season with salt to taste.
