Deep-Dish Meatball Pizza

Ingredients

  • 1 (16-oz) pkg frozen Italian-style meatballs
  • 1 (24-oz) jar pasta sauce
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 Tbsp yellow cornmeal
  • 1 (13.8-oz) can refrigerated pizza dough
  • 2 (8-oz) pkg shredded mozzarella cheese, divided

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Cook meatballs in a large skillet over medium heat until browned and thoroughly cooked; drain and toss with pasta sauce.
  2. Brush oil over bottom of a 13-x 9-inch baking dish, and sprinkle with cornmeal.
  3. Unroll pizza dough and fit in pan, letting edges hang over sides of pan.
  4. Sprinkle 2 cups cheese over crust; top with saucy meatballs, and 2 cups cheese. Fold edges of dough into pan.
  5. Bake 20 to 30 minutes or until crust is browned and center is bubbly.

Side Dish Ingredients

  • 2 (12-oz) pkg frozen broccoli, cauliflower and carrots
  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp garlic powder

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Microwave vegetables according to package directions.
  2. Stir in butter and garlic powder; season with salt to taste.
