Three-Cheese Penne Bake

Ingredients

  • 12 oz whole-grain penne pasta
  • 1 (24.5-oz) jar low-sodium tomato-basil pasta sauce
  • ¾ cup part-skim ricotta cheese
  • 2 Tbsp freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • ¾ tsp Italian seasoning
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¾ tsp salt
  • 6 (0.74-oz) slices reduced-fat Swiss cheese, torn

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Cook pasta according to package directions. Toss pasta with sauce, ricotta, Parmesan, seasoning, garlic, and salt.
  2. Spread mixture in a greased 13- x 9-inch baking dish. Top with Swiss cheese. Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until bubbly and browned.

  • 2 (12-oz) pkg broccoli florets
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp pepper

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Toss together broccoli, oil, salt, and pepper over a large rimmed baking sheet; spread in a single layer.
  2. Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until golden, stirring once. Serve alongside pasta.
