Spiced Baked Pears
Ingredients
- 4 large pears, halved and cored
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon
- ⅓ cup honey
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ⅓ cup chopped walnuts
- ⅓ cup old-fashioned rolled oats
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F; line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Place pear halves, cut side up, on baking sheet. Slice a sliver off bottoms so pears lay flat.
- Sprinkle pears with cinnamon. Stir together honey and vanilla; drizzle each pear half with 1 to 2 tsp honey mixture. Sprinkle with chopped nuts and oats.
- Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until pears are tender. Remove from oven; cool 10 minutes before serving. Makes 8 servings.
