Vegetable-Beef Soup

Ingredients

  • 1½ lb ground beef
  • ½ sweet onion, finely chopped
  • 1 lb pkg frozen mixed vegetables
  • 8 cups beef broth
  • 1 (15-oz) can tomato sauce
  • 3 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tsp garlic salt
  • 2 tsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 (16-oz) pkg elbow macaroni

Instructions

  1. Cook beef and onion in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat 6 to 8 minutes or until beef is browned and crumbly.
  2. Place beef mixture in a 5- to 7-quart slow cooker. Add vegetables, broth, tomato sauce, Worcestershire, garlic salt, and Cajun seasoning to beef mixture, stirring well.
  3. Cover and cook on LOW 8 hours.
  4. Cook macaroni according to package directions; stir into soup just before serving.
