Brown Sugar-Bacon-Wrapped Chicken Tenderloins

Ingredients

  • 1½ Tbsp brown sugar
  • Dash of salt
  • Dash of black pepper
  • Dash of cayenne pepper
  • ¾ lb chicken tenderloins (see Note)
  • 6 slices bacon
  • ⅓ cup mayonnaise 
  • 1 Tbsp Dijon mustard

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Mix together sugar, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper in a small bowl; rub over chicken. Wrap 1 slice bacon around each chicken tenderloin, securing with a tooth pick if necessary.
  2. Arrange chicken on a wire rack set over a rimmed baking sheet; bake 18 to 20 minutes or until chicken is done.
  3. Meanwhile, mix together mayonnaise and mustard in a bowl; serve with chicken.

Side Dish Ingredients

  • 1 (12-oz) pkg green beans
  • 1½ Tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • ⅛ tsp salt
  • ⅛ tsp pepper
  • 3 Tbsp French fried onions

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Cook beans according to package directions; toss with butter, mustard, salt, and pepper. Sprinkle with onions.
