Favorite Tex-Mex Pizza

Lime and Honey Fruit Salad

Ingredients

  • 2 (8-oz) cans refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 (1-oz) pkg taco seasoning mix
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 (4-oz) can chopped green chiles
  • 1 (15-oz) can refried black beans
  • 1 (8-oz) pkg shredded Mexican-blend cheese
  • 1 (8-oz) pkg shredded lettuce
  • 2 Roma tomatoes, thinly sliced

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Press crescent rolls into bottom of a 15- x 10-inch jellyroll pan, pressing perforations to seal. Bake 10 minutes or until golden brown.
  3. Meanwhile, cook beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned and crumbly; drain and return to skillet. Stir in taco seasoning mix, water, and chiles. Cook over medium heat until mixture is very thick.
  4. Heat beans according to package directions; spread over crescent rolls. Top with beef mixture and cheese. Bake 10 minutes. Top with lettuce and tomatoes.

  • 2 Tbsp lime juice
  • 1 Tbsp honey
  • 1 (2-lb) deli fruit salad

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Whisk together lime juice and honey in a large bowl. Add fruit salad; toss.
