Ingredients

  • ¾ lb lean ground turkey (or use ground chicken)
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • ½ tsp grated ginger
  • 1 Tbsp chopped fresh basil
  • 2 tsp honey
  • 1 tsp fish sauce (or use lime juice)
  • 2 tsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • ½ tsp Sriracha hot sauce (optional)
  • 4 whole wheat slider buns

Instructions

  1. Combine turkey, garlic, ginger, and basil; shape mixture into 4 small patties.
  2. Whisk together honey, fish sauce, vinegar, soy sauce, and, if desired, Sriracha hot sauce; reserve half of honey mixture for later use.
  3. Cook patties in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat 4 to 5 minutes per side, brushing with remaining half of honey mixture.
  4. Place 1 patty in each slider bun; brush with reserved half of honey mixture, and top with desired amount of Green Onion-Feta Slaw recipe.

  • ⅓ (10-oz) pkg angel hair coleslaw
  • 1 green onion, chopped
  • 1 oz crumbled feta cheese
  • 2 tsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Combine coleslaw, onion, and feta in a bowl; whisk together lemon juice, mustard, and oil.
  2. Pour dressing over slaw; chill at least 30 minutes before serving.
